ROBBERS CUT OPEN ATM, DECAMP WITH 11.92 LAK

Unidentified suspects decamped with Rs 11.92 lakh on Friday night after cutting open an ATM of a private bank in Bidkin village.Police said the footage recovered from the CCTV cameras installed at the ATM show that the incident took place sometime around 10 pm on Friday, when Bidkin, one of the largest villages of Paithan taluka in the district, wore a deserted look.The gang of suspects, armed with a gas cutter, cut open the ATM machine and fled with the booty.



The village has a large number of industries and is a key nerve point of the ambitious Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor.The incident has left the anti-dacoity squad  red-faced, who for the past few days were busy raiding gambling dens and those transporting illicit liquor.
